Reverses to Camo · DPM: Monster Tiger
Featuring an all-over samuranche quilting, this tote bag reverses from a plain cotton sateen, into a DPM: monster tiger; a rare Vietnamese pattern used by tailor shops offering uniform modifications to U.S. soldiers.
The Samuranche pattern combines elements of the traditional Japanese tortoise shell used in the battle dress of 17th Century Samurai with the broken arrow peace symbol and a pattern used by the indigenous American Comanche. Known as the Lords of the Plains, they were later respected for their contributions to WWI, WWII and Vietnam U.S. war efforts.
