Children of the Discordance

Children of the Discordance assembles stylistic cues from youth-led counterculture movements into artfully created collections. Founded by Hideaki Shikama in 2011, the Tokyo-based label reveals an ethically and sustainably minded vision in its selection of fairly sourced and upcycled materials. The concept of discordance takes on a positive connotation in the label’s street skating and hip-hop influenced rebellious aesthetic.
